This SMA Fiber Coupler mates a Sciencetech 2" Beam Condensing Assembly (such as IO2 model condensors) to the input end of an SMA fiber such that the light collected is focused into the SMA fiber tip with great efficiency. The SMA Fiber Coupler screws onto the output end of the 2" Beam Condensing Assembly. Once screwed on, the input tip of the fiber bundle is positioned at the output focal spot for optimum light collection. This assembly also includes an X-Y optical coupler that can be used to couple beam line components and allows for independent adjustment of +-3mm along each of two orthogonal axis. There are two flange sizes of the Fiber Bundle Coupler available to match the 1 and 2 inch diameter sizes of the Beam Condensing Assembly. Please note that the SMA Fiber Coupler should not be used on its own without the beam condensing assembly as otherwise the light collection efficiency from the light source is very low.

This Broadband Thermopile Detector allows the measurement of infrared light in the 0.19 – 20 µm range. This detector has a 12mm diameter sensor, measures up to 3 W (0.5 uW NEP). Please note that this detector head requires either an external display controller or computer interface (such as the UNO-1, sold separately) to show the measured power. The price shown includes the detector head, post, post holder, and base only.

This thermopile is recommended for smaller light sources (collimated 500W arc lamps and below) and standard solar simulators (<5 Suns, <500 mW/cm2).

The Glow bar (Globar) is a typical infrared source for the THz researcher. The heating element itself is very low cost, allowing researchers to use them without worry about replacing expensive bulbs or components. The majority of the price for this unit consists of the water cooling (required for vacuum operation), large reflector to efficiently collect the radiation, and housing designed to withstand the high level of vacuum required for THz operation.
This model is specifically designed to mount to the optional External Input Port of the SPS300. If you wish to use a completed Globar unit for your own applications, please speak with a Technical Support specialist.
Please note that this device requires water cooling to operate under vacuum and includes all the lines, but not the water recirculator itself. If purchased as part of a complete SPS300 system, it is included.

This is a single fixed width slit for Sciencetech's 9030 monochromators. It can also be used with any other model monochromator, but requires a SS-F slit holder (120-9046) for each input/output. Multiple slits can be exchanged using a single slit holder.
Please note that the Model 9030 monochromator already includes a pair of removable fixed width slits.
The slit height is 8mm. The slit width is 100μm.
